D100 Dice

A single D100 die is a large, 100-sided die, typically shaped like a truncated icosahedron (a 20-sided die with additional facets) to accommodate the 100 faces. Each face is numbered from 01 to 100, making it suitable for percentile rolls in tabletop games.

Unlike a pair of 10-sided dice used for the same purpose (where one die represents tens and the other ones), a single D100 die rolls directly to give a number between 01 and 100. This makes it especially useful for games that require direct percentile checks or random number generation, such as certain RPGs or games that feature critical hits, loot tables, or other random events based on a 100-point scale.
